O'Reilly Tech Books are available in the Safari eBook Collection from our library partner, Marinet. Safari features a curated library of the best technical books today—including titles from Pearson, O’Reilly Media,and more—organized by the most popular subjects, from web development and mobile apps to entrepreneurship and UX/IA, and more.

Your Dominican ID provides access to a Marinet account, which you can use to log in and access these titles. If you have not set up your Dominican + Marinet account, please follow these steps: https://dominican.libwizard.com/f/your-marinet-account

You will need:

  • Your MARINet account number begins with 2364500, then add your Dominican ID number

If you don’t know your ID number, log into Self Service. Towards the top left-hand side, there is a “Welcome (number)”. That number is your ID number. Add 2364500 to the front of your ID number and that’s it! (ex. 23645001234567)

  • A PIN number - you can set this up the first time you set up your account.

Once you've set up your account, simply go to https://marinet.lib.ca.us/screens/ebooks.html and click on the Safari collection near the bottom.
