|Concurrent User Limit:||Some databases only allow n number of users at any one time, these are concurrent users.|
|Use Persistent Links:||
Refers to direct links to articles in the databases. Also known as Stable Links, Permanent Links, Perma Links; it varies among the databases. This is the preferred manner of adding an article into Moodle.
Usually just grabbing the URL from your browser window is not enough in that it's considered a Session Link, which means that if you copy and paste it into Moodle, it probably won't work later.

An electronic version of an article for you to download and store on your computer, or other devices, so that you can refer to it later.
|Interlibrary Loan:||Interlibrary loan is the process that allows one library to share books and articles with another library|
|Course Reserves (Print):||Articles from the database can be held in the Library on reserve for students to read within the guidelines copyright applied to course reserves.|
|Course Reserves (Electronic):||This refers to Moodle, and any future electronic course reserve system available through the Library.|
|Use in Course Packs (Print):||Articles can be included in a print hard-copy course pack. Whether that course pack can be sold to the students needs further determination. Please contact the Library.|

|Re-Use in Scholarly/Academic Work:||You can use material from articles in your scholarly/academic work with proper acknowledgement. It's still a good idea to get formal permission especially if you opt to publish especially if you are using images, tables, charts, etc.|
|Scholarly Sharing (With Colleagues):||Refers to sending an article to a colleague for purposes of scholarship. It does not allow for mass distribution (e.g. listserves and social media)|
|Commercial Use:||Use in which you, or another person, are profiting from use of the article (e.g. using material from a database to include in a report for a paying client).|
|Mass Distribution:||The posting of articles on listerserves, social media, or other means to expose the article to a wide audience. Permission from the copyright holder is needed to do this.|
