Given the following citation:

Wood, P. J. (2011). UNDERSTANDING AND EVALUATING HISTORICAL SOURCES IN NURSING HISTORY RESEARCH. Nursing Praxis in New Zealand, 27(1), 25-33.

1. Enter the title, Nursing Praxis in New Zealand, into the search box for the Journal List and click on search
2. The results list will show you if the journal is available, the date range available, and the database where you can find it.
3. Check the date in the citation (2011 in this case), if we have the date that you need click on the database title (if off-campus you may need to log in with your student ID and password)
4. In the case of CINAHL (other databases are similar) you should see a list of years right side of your screen, click on the proper year for your citation
5. Next you should see a list of volume and issue numbers for the journal.  In our example the volume is 27 and the issue is 1
6. click on the right volume and issue number and you should see all of the contents for that issue of the journal.  Scroll down to find your article.
